The brief

Create an editorial identity for a magazine exploring architecture and everyday spaces. The layouts needed to balance large visual moments with quieter reading areas, creating a considered pace from cover to interior spread.

The approach

I combined oversized serif headlines with generous margins and structured text columns. Monochrome architectural imagery anchors the compositions, while blush covers and a burgundy presentation palette bring warmth to the otherwise restrained visual system.

The outcome

The concept includes a cover direction and a set of interior layout studies. A shared typographic hierarchy connects each page, with flexible image placement allowing the editorial rhythm to change across the issue.

Project scope

Space to read. Room to look closer.
