Concept project

The brief

Create a welcoming identity for a casual pasta and aperitivo bar. The concept needed enough character to stand out on the street and enough flexibility to feel natural on a menu, a small printed card or a takeaway bag.

The approach

I combined a distinctive lowercase wordmark with tomato red, warm cream and black. Editorial typography brings personality to the menus, while a simple looping graphic and striped accents connect the printed materials with the physical storefront.

The outcome

The concept extends across signage, menu stationery and takeaway packaging. Each application uses the same core elements in different proportions, creating a recognisable identity with a relaxed neighbourhood character.

Project scope

Good pasta. A place to stay a little longer.
